Building Adobe AIR Applications with HTML and JavaScript

Overview

In this presentation join Adobe Platform Evangelist, Kevin Hoyt, as he walks through migrating an application from the browser to the desktop using Adobe AIR. During the course of the migration, several desktop-oriented features will be explored to include native windowing, local file IO, monitoring network availability, and using system notifications. Though applicable to any developer using HTML/CSS/JavaScript, this application will focus on applying these features through the use of the jQuery framework.
